WORD: World yOung Rheumatic Diseases Day, Friday 18 March
In line with their initiative to spread the word about early diagnosis and referrals to paediatric rheumatology experts, the WORD committee has organised an exciting platform for patients, parents and family members affected by paediatric rheumatic diseases to connect with an international panel of paediatric rheumatology experts through round table discussions.
All patients, parents, and family members affected by paediatric rheumatic diseases can submit their questions in advance to lead the discussions. This way, we hope to address important questions and concerns across communities.
There are two sessions:
Part 1: “When to suspect a paediatric rheumatic disease and refer” at 1700 GMT for 1 hour
Part 2: “Together, how can we help children and young people live well with a rheumatic disease” at 1900 GMT for 1.5 hours
