Driving to Azerbaijan, for VUK

In Previous Fundraising by John Geddes

Poles of Inconvenience 8th July to 8th August 2023

Bailey Bamforth and friends are going to drive the most beautiful and most dangerous roads possible – totally unsupported and completely alone – with no set route. They will travel from the UK to Azerbaijan, stopping in as many countries as possible in four weeks with other teams from the Poles of Inconvenience rally, picking up random points they set out on a map – all while driving a 20 year old 1.1 litre Fiat Panda they bought for £600. And they are doing this all “for an excellent charity” (Vasculitis UK), and to raise awareness about vasculitis. in memory of their dear friend Sarah who was taken far too soon.
