London Landmarks run for VUK

In Fundraising by John Geddes

Kelsey-Leigh suffers from Takayasu Arteritis, and her aunt, Samantha Feek, is taking part in the London Landmarks half marathon on Sunday 6th April 2025 to support Kelsey-Leigh and to raise funds for Vasculitis UK

The whole family have been supporting Kelsey since her diagnosis . Samantha’s story is on the family’s Just Giving page so please follow the link and donate.

Sam writes:

If you don’t already know me, I’m Sam and a very proud Auntie to our Kelsey.

Watching what she has been through the past couple of years has been extremely difficult and deeply upsetting.

I realised I needed to get involved in Kelsey’s journey (when back in April 2024), I went to support & watch another of my niece’s run in the London marathon.

I was absolutely in awe of every single person that participated that day ~ and without any hesitation decided that I too would like to make a difference.

I’m definitely no runner, but since then, I have completed the Couch to 5k programme – progressing from zero running to running 5k non~stop!

I also took part in my very first official 10k running event back in October.

……Fast forward to my next mission which comes on the 6th of April 2025, when I shall be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon!

I will be running in support of Kelsey and VASCULITIS UK, doing all I can to make sure this “50 something” is in the best shape to give it a blooming good go!
